Meet Fawn: Still Waiting After 401 Days

Fawn has spent over a year—401 days—growing up at Happy Tails. While other dogs have come and gone, she’s been patiently waiting for someone to finally choose her.

Fawn is a beautiful fawn-colored mix, possibly Pit Bull and Doberman, with a gentle heart and a loving spirit. She adores people, doesn’t react to the cats at the shelter, and loves soaking up attention from everyone she meets. She’s playful when it’s time for fun, but also calm and well-mannered—especially on walks, which are her favorite part of the day.

After so long in a kennel, Fawn is starting to feel the stress of shelter life. You can see it in her—she’s ready for something more. While she has done well around other dogs, she would benefit from thoughtful introductions and a home that can help her continue to feel safe and comfortable.

Fawn isn’t meant to spend her life behind kennel doors. She deserves a soft place to land, a routine, and someone who sees just how special she is.
