Happy Tails is a limited intake, no-kill facility that shelters and cares for stray and abandoned dogs and cats until they are adopted into loving permanent homes. We promote pet adoption and humane education. Happy Tails is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Meet Ronnie 🐾

Ronnie is a beautiful Shepherd mix with a smart, loving personality and so much potential. At 3–4 years old, she has been at the shelter for over a year and would truly love a home — and a person or family of her own to bond with and love.

She can be shy at first and needs a little time to feel comfortable in new situations, so she’s looking for someone patient who will help her continue building confidence. Ronnie is very observant and aware of her surroundings, and she has already made wonderful progress during her time at the shelter.

She walks nicely on a leash and continues to improve every day. Ronnie may need a little extra guidance and reassurance, but beneath that cautious exterior is a loyal, intelligent dog ready to form a strong connection with the right person.
